Our Story: A Third Place

Bermuda Club is not a big corporate concept. It’s the result of a group of friends wanting something to exist for themselves and willing it into existence. It all started with a simple realization: we needed a place to help us balance our overly busy lives. We’d hit the gym, maybe take a cold plunge or yoga session, head to the office, try to sneak in some range time, or meet up with a friend to catch a Padres game at Regal Seagull—but none of it was convenient, and we always felt rushed to get from one place to the next. We wondered why a place that could help us accomplish all of those things in one location didn't exist. As we began talking, we noticed we weren’t the only ones struggling with this. Many of our friends, at this stage in life, were dealing with the same challenges. Whether it was balancing family life, careers, or trying to find time for self-care, it was clear that everyone was sacrificing their own well-being for the sake of others. We knew we needed a space where we could reconnect with ourselves, our health, and our friends. That’s when the three of us—all local husbands, fathers, and professionals from North County San Diego—came together to envision what this place might look like. But a funny thing happened: the more we discussed a comprehensive place to make our lives easier, the more we realized that what we were really excited about was the opportunity this space could provide to meet new people, network, and foster genuine relationships. It quickly became more about the community than just the amenities. At this stage in life, we have more flexibility in our careers than ever before, but we’re also managing more responsibilities. Prioritizing ourselves is tough, and finding time for real connection is even harder. We realized how important it is to maintain genuine friendships—not just the work buddies, but those real friends that help you stay grounded and balanced. That’s the kind of connection that often gets lost when life gets hectic. We started asking, "Why isn’t there a place where we can focus on our work, health, have fun, and still make time for real friendships?" We didn’t want the typical country club, crowded gym, or stiff co-working space. We wanted something that felt natural—a third place where we could get our work done, focus on our health (mental and physical), enjoy life, and still connect with others without feeling rushed. So, we built Bermuda Club—a space for busy professionals who want to Work Well, Play Well, and Be Well. From the golf simulators to the co-working spaces, cold plunges, and large speakeasy, everything at Bermuda Club is built to enhance your life without adding complications. Bermuda Club isn’t about exclusivity or trying to impress anyone. It’s about building real connections with real friends, having a great time, and getting things done, all while taking care of yourself. And that’s something we all need more than ever. Welcome to the Club. Cheers, Brian, Eric & Scott
